Temple Tuskers Attend Camp
A captive elephant performs tricks in an Indian temple. These animals live and work alone despite their natural herd instincts. So, to give them some much deserved rest and social interaction, a camp was set up in the southern province of Tamil Nadu. Elephant handlers or "mahouts" accompanied their animals for the 48-day break.
