Fugitive Cop Believed Killed in Fire After Shootout
The charred cabin where a massive manhunt ended in gunfire and flames. The morning after the deadly shootout, Los Angeles authorities say they are working to confirm that the remains found inside the cabin belong to the fugitive former police officer at the center of a week-long manhunt. Officers tracked Christopher Dornan to the cabin near a California ski resort on Tuesday, pumping in tear gas and calling for him to surrender. What followed was gunfire.
