Chris Cordt

Chris Cordt joined the KRMG news team in 2012 as an anchor/reporter.

The Emmy award-winning journalist spent nearly 7 years at KJRH-TV in Tulsa as a newscast producer. Before he moved to Tulsa, Chris worked at KHBS/KHOG-TV and Clear Channel Radio, both in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Cordt earned journalism degrees from Texas A&M University - Commerce and Coffeyville Community College.

Chris has been honored several times for his work. Honors include 1st place in the 2010 Oklahoma AP Broadcasters Awards for Weather Coverage, Emmy nominations in 2010 and 2012 for Best Evening Newscast and an Emmy Award in 2006 for Best Daytime Newscast.

In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, going to church, riding his bike, and getting his picture taken with celebrities.
