Police say Crystal Suniga was going as much as 100 miles per our when she crashed into two cars, rolling her vehcile and coming to rest against a house.
Neighbors heard the awful sound of the crash and tried to assist.
"We heard a little girl screaming for help, and we ran with my brothers to try to get people out," one told NBC DFW.
"That’s when we tried to break the window, open the other windows, that’s when we saw the bodies."
impact killed 10-year-old Ricardo Hernandez and his 14-year-old Angel Reyes. Another 16-year-old boy was in the car and survived but with a crushed pelvis. The driver and her 12-year-old daughter survived with minor injuries.
Suniga’s blood-alcohol content was measured at .18 after the accident. That’s more than three times the legal limit in Texas.
Suniga first went to an area hospital but was transferred to jail and will face two charges of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of injury to a child.
Another neighbor told WFAA Suniga was chasing her boyfriend after the two had a fight.
