Victim uses hot coffee to chase burglar away

A woman chases a burglar out of her house before he takes off on a bicycle.

Tulsa Police Corporal Jerrod Hart tells us 54-year old Nathaniel Hudson got into the woman's house near 1900 South Utica Avenue about 12:45 Friday morning.

"She threw coffee at him and after that he turned and ran out and grabbed a pack of cigarettes off the counter as he was running out of the house," Hart said.

Hudson was arrested after police spotted him near 1800 South Baltimore Avenue.

A police canine bit Hudson on the forearm.

Hudson had several outstanding warrants for his arrest.
