Teacher who admitted raping student free after one month in jail

It's only been 30 days since confessed rapist Stacey Rambold walked into a Montana prison and he’s already walking out.
Rambold admitted raping a former student named Cherice Moralez when she was 14 years old.
But Judge Todd Baugh shocked many when he only sentenced Rambold to 30 days while saying Moralez was "older than her chronological age" and “as much in control” as Rambold.
Moralez killed herself before Rambold went to trial.
Baugh offered a watered down apology after outrage followed the ruling but has refused to step down despite calls to do so from several groups.
The Montana judicial review board has received a petition with over 144,000 signatures asking for Baugh to be removed from the bench.
Rambold isn’t out of the woods just yet either.
He’ll have 14 years and 11 months of probation to face and his sentence has been appealed to the Montana Supreme Court in an effort to have it lengthened.
