The Tulsa Talons will take on perennial AFL powerhouse, the San Jose Sabercats this Saturday, April 16 at 7pm at the BOK Center.

It will be a mini-Talons reunion as the Sabercats have 2 former players and coaches in the organization. Former Talons Head Coach Skip Foster is the Sabercats Offensive Coordinator and former Talons Defensive Coordinator, Jeff Jarnigan holds the same position with the Sabercats. From a player standpoint, Gabe Nyenhuis, who was the defensive player of the year in the AFL last season while playing for the Talons is on the Sabercats roster, but will not play due to injury and Adam Huebner who was the Talons starting nose guard for part of the 2010 season will play for the Sabercats Saturday night.

Talons tickets start as low as $12. Call (918) 294-1000 for more information.

Talons Head Coach Mitch Allner recently announced the signing of two veteran arena football receivers Al Hunt and Troy McBroom.

Hunt has played 9 years of arena football spending most of his career with the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and the Tulsa Talons. The 5'11, 205lb Hunt is in the top 3 all-time in every statistical category for receivers in the former af2 and is one of only two players to ever break the 1,000 point barrier.

McBroom has two years of arena football experience with his best season coming in 2009 where he pulled in 114 receptions for 1,463 yards and 26 touchdowns.

The Talons post game parties will once again be at the Full Moon Cafe on Cherry Street.

Talons fans will have the opportunity to mingle with Talons players and cheerleaders after each home game.

If the Talons score 65 or more points at any home game, there will be $1 Miller Lites from 10pm-midnight.
