OSU leads coming down the stretch in the Big 12 golf tournament

   HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ Oklahoma State's Morgan Hoffmann fired a two-under-par 68 Tuesday and moved into first place after three rounds in the Big 12 men's golf championship.  Hoffman's 3-under par total of 207 gave him a three-shot lead over teammate Kevin Tway, who had a 71 on the Prairie Dunes course and was at even par 210. Two strokes farther back was Jordan Russell of Texas A&M at 212.

     In the team competition, Oklahoma State widened its lead to 12 strokes over Texas A&M. The top-ranked and four-time defending champion Cowboys had a 5-over-par 845 total, followed by Texas A&M at 857 and Texas at 862. Oklahoma State's Peter Uihlein, the current U.S. Amateur champion, shot a 69 on Tuesday and was 8-over par 218.  The final round was scheduled for Wednesday.
