Tulsa Talons

The Tulsa Talons struggled to their lowest offensive output of the year, losing to Amarillo 48-33.

In his starting debut quarterback Derek Rasmussen completed 15 of 29 passes for 175 yards and three touchdowns but three interceptions as well. The Tulsa loss, and a late win by Spokane over Central Valley means the Talons trail the Shock for home field advantage in the playoffs.

Tulsa now has a bye week before hosting Arkansas on July 12th, a game that could decide the National League Central division crown.
