A Baltimore man has come up with a rather unique way to dine out on the cheap.
According to police, 46-year-old Andrew Palmer has a long history of faking seizures at local restaurants in order to get out of paying his bill.
Baltimore police say Palmer refused to pay a $50 tab at an Italian restaurant last Monday.
The night before, he claimed to have another seizure after racking up a $90 bill at an upscale barbecue place.
The Baltimore Sun reports that paramedics have become quite familiar with the serial seizure sufferer, "The paramedics showed up and said, 'Looks like our guy's back,'" said local chef Jesse Sandlin.
"He would not wake up, and they were like, 'Come on Andy, stop faking.'"
Police reports show Palmer has been arrested more than 90 times and been found guilty of petty theft eight times in just the last year.
The Sun reports because Palmer's arrests are for nonviolent offenses, and are usually for under $100, he is very lucky to only serve a portion of any sentence he is convicted of.
