The Woody Guthrie Center will be holding a book drive to support Tulsa Educare starting today through December 19.
Patrons who bring in a new preschool book can save $3 off regular admission.
All books collected will be donated to preschool students at Tulsa Educare so that each student can receive the gift of reading.
Tulsa Educare focuses on breaking the cycle of poverty through early childhood education programs.
Each school serves 140-200 children and families with all-day, year-round early childhood education, family support services and ongoing medical care.
The Woody Guthrie Center is also accepting donations from those who can't make it to the center, it has set up an Amazon Wish List for Educare.
To donate, go to www.amazon.com/wishlist and search for the Woody Guthrie Center.
Donated books will be delivered to Educare on Thursday, December 19th, just in time for children to have during the holiday break.
