Traffic delays surrounding Tulsa

Orange barrels or cones are everywhere in Tulsa County.

According to ODOT, there are several areas under construction that drivers need to know about.

Highway 169 is closed until Monday at 6 a.m. at State Highway 266.

All north and southbound lanes are closed and traffic is being detoured to the SH 266 ramps for the ongoing interchange improvement project.

Speed limits are down to 25 mph in that area.

In Sand Springs, State Highway 97 is narrowed for a bridge rehab project at State Highway 51 and Avery Drive.

That road work is an ongoing project with flagged operations until 6 a.m. Monday.

Finally, if your travelling on I-244, the left lane of eastbound I-244 at the Arkansas River bridge will be closed until 6 a.m. tomorrow.

The bottom line, if you are driving anywhere in Tulsa, give yourself extra time to get where you want to go.
