Subway stores robbed overnight

FOX23 news reports two Subway stores were robbed eary Saturday morning.

Police say the suspect entered an east Admiral store carrying a small ax and demanded money.

When the employees couldn't open the safe, he went to another store on south Memorial and demanded money or he would blow them up.

The suspect then struck two employees with the ax handle.

The suspect took money from the register and when he couldn't open the safe, he left.
