First degree murder charges filed

Tulsa Police Homicide files charges in connection to two homicides that took place in mid-October 2013.

Two counts of first degree murder were filed on Marcus Miller on Friday, January 10, 2014.

Miller was a suspect in the shooting deaths of David Muses and Marrico McGuire, both were shot outside an afterhours club near 11^th Street on October 12, 2013.

Miller was shot during the fight outside the club and was hospitalized.

Miller was a focus of police investigation in this case early on.

Miller was already in police custody on two unrelated charges.

The first degree murder charges were added on to the existing charges.

Detectives believe that Miller was shot by an associate of McGuire that was firing into the crowd from across the street of the club.

Detectives continue their efforts to identify the shooter of Miller.

This investigation is still ongoing and those that have continued to provide misleading information in this case will be subject to arrest.
