It almost seems odd. To "celebrate" the death of another human being is not something we are familiar with but the news late Sunday night of the death of Osama Bin Laden brought mostly positive response.
United States Navy seals stormed the compound Bin Laden was hiding in, took control, and then offered the worlds most hunted terrorist a chance to surrender. When he refused, Bin Laden was killed.
Now that the devil who planned and executed the 9-11 plot is gone, is there reason to feel better about our security and our lives? Most Tulsan's don't think so. "I'm not exactly sure because I still think there could be some retaliation" one young lady told us. "Long overdue" was the thought of another woman Monday. One man went so far as to call Bin Landen's death inconsequential, saying he was only one man in a long line of those who want to do damage to America.
While opinions were somewhat varied one theme carried through, there is more work to do. Check the links below to hear what people had to say and please leave your comments on our page below as well as on our Facebook page Facebook.com/KRMG.
