Woman arrested for Muskogee courthouse bomb threat

By Russell Mills

TULSA —

Muskogee police have arrested a woman they believe has phoned in two bomb threats after she reportedly called and left her name on a voicemail at the police department.

The courthouse was evacuated Monday after an initial threatening call indicating a bomb in the building.

Officers picked up Jessica Dugger, 38, after a second phone call Wednesday.

She faces complaints of resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and threatening communications involving explosive devices.

A check of court records indicates that so far, no charges have been filed in the case.

The police have made statements to the media indicating Dugger may have psychological issues.
