Volunteers team up to green up Green Country

About 50 volunteers gathered at Hunter Park Saturday morning for Tulsa's inaugural Green Up Green Country clean-up.

KRMG teamed up with Mix96, 103.3 the Eagle and K95.5 for the event.

Clean-up crews spent hours combing Green Country for trash to help the environment and to help Tulsa look more beautiful.

The event's sponsors included QT, Wassco Bottling Company, GreenHouse Clothing, the M.E.T., the City of Tulsa and Keep Oklahoma Beautiful.
