Tulsa, Okla. —

A Union High School student is behind bars this morning. He faces child pornography charges.

18-year-old Jonathan DeVito was arrested yesterday afternoon at Union High School by Tulsa County Sheriffs deputies in reference to an incident that was sexual in nature.

DeVito's arrest and booking report states that DeVito admitted to school administrators that he took a picture of a mentally challenged sixteen-year-old juvenile student using the restroom. DeVito then shared the picture with friends on Twitter.

The report goes on to say that the picture displayed the student with his pants and underwear down to his ankles using the urinal with his buttocks exposed.

DeVito faces multiple child pornography and peeping Tom charges.

KRMG contacted Union High School about the incident. A spokesperson referred all questions to the Tulsa Police Department but released the following statement:

"Please note at Union we take the safety and dignity of our students very seriously.  When we were made aware of an incident at the High School, we immediately took steps to protect the well-being of our students.   We notified the appropriate parties and law enforcement officials.    But again, since this is a confidential matter involving our students, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) prohibits us from commenting any further.
