Two separate motorcycle crashes overnight killed two people on one bike and critically injure another rider.

A man who was driving a motorcyle with a female passenger crashed in a neighborhood near 51st and Mingo.

Gary Kruse with the News On 6 tells us emergency crews responded at 2:14 a.m. Thursday to East 46th Street and South 94th East Avenue where "one of the neighbors actually heard the accident and called 911. She came out the door to see if she could find what had happened. The man was dead at the scene. They tried to revive the woman but pronounced her dead also."

Another motorcycle wreck about 1:30 a.m. near 4800 South Highway 75 critically injured the rider.

Kruse says that rider was westbound on I-44 when he took the northbound Highway 75 exit ramp, lost control and hit a concrete divider wall.

Kruse says, "Apparently struck one of the very short concrete dividers. That apparently caused him to lose control. It went across the roadway and slammed into the divider wall."

Kruse tells us none of the victims were wearing helmets.

 No names have been released.
