TULSA, Okla. —

Two more of the firefighters injured in the Barnard School Fire have returned to full duty.

Firefighters Joel Jones from Station 7 and Heath Tye from Station 5 have returned to full duty. Jones returned on Friday and Tye reported for duty today.

They join Captain Alec Ridner and Fire Equipment Operator Rasheem “Petey” Revels who went back to work in September.

Firefighters Michael Rodriguez and Ryan Beeler have returned to light duty. TFD spokesman Stan May tells KRMG that the men are anxious to return to firefighter duties.

Captain Terry Sivadon and Fire Equipment Operator Matt Bell still remain on injury leave while they recover from their injuries.

The Barnard building, most recently home to the Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences (TSAS), burned to the ground in an early morning fire on Sept. 5.  By the next day, TSAS students had already been relocated by TPS to the former Sequoyah building at 3441 E. Archer St.
