TULSA, Okla. —

Zane Corbett Atchison has been formally charged with murder in the Aug. 30 slayings of 27-year-old Patrick Shawn and 24-year-old Kaylyn Kosofsky. The 24-year-old is being held in the Tulsa County Jail, but police are still searching for another man they say is responsible.

Joel Rosales Pina, 27, is also being sought in the shootings that took place in the parking lot of the Open Bible Fellowship near 71st and Riverside. Rosales Pina was also formally charged with first degree murder Tuesday.

Atchison was captured the day after the shootings after police say he fled in a stolen car.

Events surrounding the shootings were witnessed by several people at the nearby QuickTrip, including small children.

Tulsa Police Sgt. David Walker told KRMG that the murders were likely narcotics-related.

"The investigation reveals that these suspects and victims knew each other and the motive is probably going to be narcotic-related. They were all running in the same circle in the narcotic world," Walker said.
