TV Land pulls reruns of ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’

No doubt a move made after the nationwide debate started over the Confederate flag.

TV Land decided to stop airing reruns of the old TV show 'The Dukes of Hazzard.'

Discussions about whether or not the Confederate flag should be displayed in public came up after the mass shooting at a church in South Carolina.

The network didn’t explain the move, but most sources said it’s because the famous Duke boys’ Dodge Charger, the General Lee, has a Confederate flag on the roof.

Warner Bros., the company that produced the TV show back in the 70s and 80s, already decided to pull any merchandise that has the flag.
