Tulsans reflect on 9/11 anniversary

By Glenn Schroeder

TULSA, Okla —

The assassination of President Kennedy, the Oklahoma City bombing and 9-11.

If you’re old enough you can probably recall where you were and what you were doing when those tragic events happened.

We asked Tulsans to reflect on the eleventh anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks, and we got some pretty interesting responses.

One man said, “I think of all the men and women that died in the World Trade Center.  I think about them every year on the anniversary.”

Another man said, “Just remember it’s not over.  Don’t ever forget that our boys are still out there in the desert doing what they do best for us.  I’m just thankful to be living in a country like we have right now.”

Nearly 3,000 people died in the 9-11 attacks and more than 6,000 others were injured.
