A large brainstorming session was held Monday night to get your thoughts on Vision2 projects for the City of Tulsa.

But it's clear that to get support for the extension of the tax from Vision 2025 that Tulsans have some tough questions that need to be answered by city leaders.

Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett started the public forum held at the Webster High School auditorium with some achievements from Vision 2025, including job and economic growth.

In the audience, Ed Massey and it’s because of Vision 2025 that he doesn't support Vision2.

“They haven't completed the projects they said they had planned to go ahead and complete. Why extend something when you haven't completed what you said you would do,” says Massey.

He’s doubtful that anything said during the public forum would change his mind about supporting Vision2.

Jean Harris is opposed to Vision2.

Still she came to listen.

"Because I want to hear what kind of nonsense they are going to try put over to the public,” says Harris.

Tulsa city leaders have said the input, feedback and suggestions gained during a series of public forums will be used to create a list of projects to be funded if Vision2 passes in November.

Some in the crowd came with ideas like Jane Dunner.

She would like to see a light rail system, something like what she saw in Atlanta during a recent trip.

"Oh probably, I don't think I am against it yet,” says Dunner, "I pretty much don't mind paying taxes if we get something for them."

Just as specific, Barry Downer came to support funding for a facility that is already in existence, the Tulsa Zoo.

"I do work there. We think that for the past 15 to 20 years really the zoo has been underfunded and now it is our opportunity to try and get some of that money back."

One man tells KRMG he’s president of a neighborhood association near 21st and 31st and Garnett came with a message for leaders, "I feel like the east part of Tulsa has been neglected for many years."
