By Steve Berg

Tulsa, Okla. —

A 31-year-old Tulsa man is in critical condition after he was shot in the stomach during an attempted robbery in the parking lot of the Worthington Townhouses near 21st and Garnett.

Police say the victim was in his car when two suspects walked up on both sides of the car.

"He said he was approached by two black males, who blocked him inside the vehicle, wouldn't let him leave," said Tulsa Police Officer Leland Ashley.  "As he attempted to back out, he was shot by the individual who was standing on the passenger side."
