TULSA, Okla. —

A Tulsa man is behind bars. Tulsa Police tell KRMG he tried to steal a 150-year-old violin valued at $10,000, among other items.

Investigators tell KRMG that officers were sent to Saied Music Store near 71st and Mingo around 6 P.M. Thursday.

The victim, a Said Music Store instructor, told police that a white male had stolen his personal $10,000 Klotz violin, which he says is 150 years old.

The suspect, 21-year-old William Joseph Kent, is also accused of stealing Clark White Tin Key Penny Whistle from the store.

Police received a good description of the suspect while conducting his investigation.

Shortly after, officers took another larceny call at Mattress King where the victim said someone had just stolen his iPhone. The two suspect descriptions matched.

As officers were canvassing the area, they observed a white male matching the suspect description near Saied Music store and took him into custody.

Police tell KRMG that all of the stolen items were recovered and returned to the owners.

Kent faces a count of Grand Larceny and two counts of Petit Larceny.
