Tulsa gas prices drop again

While national average goes higher

Tulsa gas prices continue to move in the opposite direction of the rest of the country.

While the nationwide average of a gallon of regular unleaded went up four-and-a-half cents over the past week, GasBuddy.com says Tulsa pump prices dropped a couple of pennies.

It's the second week in a row Tulsa gas prices have declined while the national average has gone up.

The Tulsa average is $3.52 a gallon which is 21 cents a gallon more than a year ago while the national average is a whopping $3.86.

That's about 30 cents higher than a year ago.

There is one hopeful note.

Prices have risen so high, so quickly, that analysts think prices may peak in April rather than May.
