'Person of interest' arrested after arson at apartment complex

20-year-old Kenneth Demarco Ferguson was arrested on Friday night.

Tulsa, Okla. —

A man Tulsa fire listed as a 'person of interest' for an apparent arson fire at the Pomeroy Park Apartments, was arrested late Friday night. 

Tulsa fire had said they were looking for 20-year-old Kenneth Demarco Ferguson because he might have information on how the early Thursday morning fire started.  He wasn't listed as a suspect.

Nobody was injured in the apartment fire, but two adults and a child did have to be rescued.  Also, gasoline was detected at the site leaving TFD to believe the fire was set intentionally.

An arrest report states Ferguson was arrested on an unrelated warrant from 2011.
