Tulsa deputy shoots suspect at Dallas airport

A Tulsa deputy is forced to shoot a suspect on Friday at the Dallas International Airport.

Major Shannon Clark tells us Brent Taff was being extradited from Utah to Dallas by two unidentified deputies.  He was being extradited on a warrant for threatening a violent act against a Tulsa judge.

While waiting for their connecting flight, Taff was taken to the bathroom.  We're told one deputy went inside with him and the other stayed outside.

Clark says Taff struck the deputy in the face and head many times inside the bathroom.  Eventually, the deputy was able to reach his weapon and shot Taff at least once.

This didn't stop Taff.

Instead, he left the bathroom, but was tackled by the other deputy.

He was then transported to a nearby hospital, in unknown condition.

The deputy inside the bathroom was transported to a different hospital.  He suffered injuries to his head and face, but his injuries are non-life threatening.
