Bounty hunter goes to jail
Adam McAdoo turned himself in on Wednesday.

By Michael Purdy

TULSA —

A Tulsa bounty hunter spent a few hours on the wrong side of the bars Wednesday evening.

Adam McAdoo, 24, was on Tulsa Police's Most Wanted list before turning himself in to authorities.

Police say McAdoo told several people with warrants to give him money or he would send them to jail.

Instead of giving the cash to the bail bondsmen, he would just pocket the money.

He was released from jail after posting a $125,000 bond.

McAdoo is charged with kidnapping for extortion and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
