Tuesday's storm brings little relief from drought

Tuesday night's storm didn't help much with the drought.

Meteorologist David Jankowski with the National Weather Service says we didn't even get a quarter of an inch in Tulsa.

He says, “In Tulsa we had right around about .2.”

Jankowski says some parts of town got .22.

The damage was also minimal.

He says, “Had some roof damage with some winds and some trees that were blown down, 60-miles-per-hour winds. Most of that was east of the Tulsa area.”

Most of the damage was near Miami.

Also, about 1500 PSO customers were without power. That was restored by noon.
