Thunderstorms early Monday bring little rain to Tulsa

Storms were noisy but not very beneficial

The conditions of the hurricane off to the east coast during the course of the weekend sort of left us with rather quiet weather.

News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer says the west coast had showers and storms, but unfortunately here in the breadbasket nothing but very warm weather.

Another heat wave is building back into the area.

That spells hot weather for today as temperatures reach near 100 and probably will reach 100 or hotter each day through Thursday.

The chances of a tropical storm here in the next week to two weeks are very limited.

As far as looking for moisture, we're going to have to wait for maybe a cold front that's coming up this weekend

Otherwise, we continue with the same old story, hot and dry for the most part with only a few isolated storms.
