On the list of things to do this weekend one possibility is joining tens of thousands of people at Tulsa Oktoberfest. 

The 4-day party at River West Festival Park gets underway this Thursday and runs through Sunday. 

“We’re 34 years old and we’ve been declared one of the top Oktoberfest fall festivals in the nation,” said Director Tonya Pitzer. 

She says there’s something for everyone at Tulsa Oktoberfest, including families with children. 

“One of our largest tents out there is dedicated entirely to fun and activities and entertainment for kids, Pitzer said. 

The hours are Thursday from 5pm until 11pm, Friday from 11am until 11:30pm, Saturday between 10am and 11:30pm and Sunday from noon until 6pm. 

New for 2012 are free shuttles. 

This year’s four shuttle locations are at the three downtown/midtown host hotels, plus Fassler Hall at 3rd and Elgin. 

The host hotel shuttles stop at the Hyatt Regency, Holiday Inn City Central Tulsa and Trade Winds Central.

Paid parking is available near the festival grounds in $5 and $10 lots.  

Admission to Tulsa Oktoberfest is $6 and is payable at the gate via cash or credit card.

Kids 12 & under get in free.
