Tulsa, Okla. —

Ben Sumner joins us on Friday mornings to share his tips on fun and exciting things to do in and around Tulsa.

  • Love Tulsa’s live local music scene? Then I have a treat for you. 6 bands will take the stage tonight in downtown Tulsa at IDL ballroom for this year’s NEWVO-Planet of ROCK!
  • Enjoy some outdoor summer activates like the ILL CONDUCT Stunt Show. It’s taking place tomorrow at Myers-Duren Harley Davidson. Starts at 11am, free beer, free food, and live music by Tulsa’s own Crossland.

  • “Be healthy, Be Happy, Be you. Be a color runner.” That’s the motto for the “Color Run” taking place tomorrow at River West Festival Park. The run starts at 8:30am, wear white and get colored.

  • More live music will take the stage in downtown Tulsa at Fassler Hall. Rock out to The Paul Benjamin Band.
  • Twinkle, Twinkle! Grab the family for some live music. Americana Night, a night under the stars with the Starlight band takes place Tuesday. Music starts at 8pm at the River West Festival Park.
  • Oklahoma’s Tony and Emmy Award winning starlet, Kristin Chenoweth takes the stage at the Broken Arrow PAC for a rare concert appearance. Join the sweet sounds of this hometown girl THIS Sunday.
