Teen robbed of expensive sandals

A woman is arrested after police say she robbed a teenage girl at knifepoint inside the QuikTrip near 51^st and Harvard.

Police say the suspect, Christine Cook, had been inside the restroom when two 15-year-old girls entered around 9:30 Sunday morning.

Cook is accused of locking the restroom door and robbing one of the girls of her sandals.

Police say the girls managed to escape and the suspect tried to flush the large kitchen knife down the toilet.

Cook refused to come out of a restroom when police arrived.

Eventually, she was arrested and booked into the Tulsa Jail on complaints of robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted escape from arrest and obstruction.

Investigators say Cook told them she planned to escape from her handcuffs, assault an officer and steal the patrol car.
