It takes the Tulsa Police Special Operations Team to get a disturbance suspect out of a house in West Tulsa.

Tulsa Police Corporal Dan Miller tells us Matthew Mills fired gunshots in the backyard but refused to come out of the house when police arrived to investigate last night.

Miller says, "The Special Operations Team was called out and attempted to negotiate several times but were unable to get Mr. Mills to come out of the house. They deployed some (tear) gas into the house and after just a little bit Mr. Mills surrendered to officers without further incident."

Miller also tells us Mills was arrested at the scene near 500 South 45th West Avenue.

Mills could be charged with domestic violence against his son.
