By Rick Couri

It began when the teacher brought a sample of her blood to school for “sharing time.”

She poured the blood on a plate and some of the kindergarten class asked if they could touch it.

She agreed and allowed let the kids put their fingers in it.

When the students asked how they would get the blood off their fingers, the teacher, who had also put her fingers in the sample, placed her finger in her mouth and cleared the blood away.

The school is in the town of Sola in Norway.

School workers have now sent the blood to be tested for HIV/AIDS and other diseases.

As many as a dozen students are thought to have tasted the teacher's blood.

The teacher apologized but was let go anyway.
