Tulsa police say Carl Jordan became angry at the cab driver, when he was asked for the fare.

The cab driver then tried to call 911 with his phone, but Jordan didn't let him.  Instead, he kicked the phone out of the victim's hands.

He's also accused of shoving the cab driver in the chest with both hands.

Jordan ran from the scene, but didn't get very far.

Officers caught up to Jordan in the area of 28th and Sheridan and he wasn't going to be taken into custody without a fight.  Police say Jordan tried to assault an officer.

He had to be tased twice and held down in order to be arrested.  Even then, officers struggled to put him into handcuffs.

Police say Jordan smelled like alcohol and had slurred speech.
