Stillwater police kill man wanted for questioning after fire

Oklahoma investigators say Stillwater police killed a man wanted for questioning after a body was found following an apartment fire.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Stillwater firefighters responding to an upstairs apartment fire Thursday found a body when they tried to evacuate an apartment downstairs.

The Oklahoman reported Friday (http://bit.ly/1ye8Pon ) that police sought to question 42-year-old Ralph Willis, who lived in the upstairs apartment, but he ran away. OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Willis made an "aggressive move" toward an officer and that the officer shot him.

OSBI is investigating Willis' death and Stillwater police are investigating the body found in the apartment.
