UPDATE:  A barricaded man was talked out of his home this afternoon before 4pm with incident.

Tulsa County Major Shannon Clark tells KRMG that the man wouldn't come to the front door when deputies tried to serve an eviction notice to him.

We're told the man had a history of mental illness and had made threats against the deputies which is why the Special Operations Team was called to the scene to try and get the situation resolved safely.

You might be seeing a lot of activity at 11th and Delaware as Tulsa County deputies are involved in a stand-off with someone they believe has barricaded himself inside the home.

This is just to the west of the University of Tulsa.

Deputies on the scene are trying to get the person to come to the door and follow the commands of the deputies.
