Space Shuttle sound off

Tulsa Air and Space Museum

By Glenn Schroeder

A shame to see it go.  That sums up how visitors to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum feel as we near the end of America's Space Shuttle program.

One man told KRMG, “I think it’s really sad that we don’t have a vehicle to replace it, yet.”  Another person said, “I just think the future is maybe not here on this planet, maybe it’s somewhere else. I just like for America to be on the leading edge of that kind of thing.”

Said another person, “I would like to see us to come up with something to replace the shuttle program.  I don’t think it’s something that has to be retired.”
