The current soil temperature is above freezing but that could change.

Snow is still expected to stick on the roadways this morning and become a problem for drivers.

Craig Sullivan with the National Weather Service tells us, as far as soil temperatures are concerned, the soil "is fairly warm at the moment but that can be overcome pretty quickly by a heavy enough snowfall rate."

Sullivan says there is the chance that tomorrow morning's driving conditions could become hazardous if the temperature gets lower than expected and freezing rain sets in.
