Shooting victim found dead in south Tulsa apartment

Tulsa police are investigating after a shooting victim's body is found inside a sleeping bag at the One Eton Square apartment complex.

We're told the victim identified as 20-year old Mohammed Tareq had been shot in the head.

Police said 18-year old Jakhai Adams was inside the apartment when police arrived.

He was taken in for questioning after a witness reported a shooting near 8111 East 60 Street around  8 p.m. on Monday.

TPD Corporal R. W. Solomon said, "The subject was interviewed and was charged with first degree murder."
