This week, KRMG took an in-depth look at our Oklahoma National Guard in Afghanistan and the loss of 12 soldiers in 2 months.

Now, we learn U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe is currently in Afghanistan.

KRMG called Inhofe’s D.C. office to get his reaction on death of Anwar al-Awlaki and was told the Senator was not available.

Inhofe, last week, in a news release raised concerns about the U.S. military strategy in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Inhofe also said in the September 22, 2011 release that last month was the deadliest month for U.S. forces since the war in Afghanistan started in 2001.
