(Tulsa, OK) – QuikTrip is teaming up with the Folds of Honor Foundation this Labor Day Weekend.  QuikTrip will donate one dollar for every QT Kitchen sandwich it sells this Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday to the foundation that helps the families of fallen and wounded troops with educational opportunities.

QT spokesman Mike Thornbrugh says the Folds of Honor Foundation is a good fit for the company.  “A lot of our customers and a lot of our employees are either in the military or former military.”

Thornbrugh says part of that is finding a charity that meets needs in every market they are in.  “This one fits everywhere where we’re going to operate.”

Right now this is the only connection QuikTrip has with Folds of Honor but Thornbrugh hopes it isn’t the last one.  “We hope this becomes a long term partnership between us and the folds of honor people.”
