A Tulsa County judge orders a mental evaluation for the man charged with the March shooting outside the Tulsa County Courthouse.

Andrew Dennehy is accused of shooting a Tulsa County deputy in the hands and a bystander after he opened fire on the courthouse plaza.

He was shot after an exchange of gunfire with deputies on the courthouse plaza.

Dennehy’s attorney requested the psychiatric examination be done in two weeks on July 12.

A preliminary hearing is set for July 18th to determine whether there is enough evidence to go to trial.

Dennehy is charged with shooting with intent to kill and reckless conduct with a firearm.
