Prisoner tells officers to "tase me bro"

A Tulsa man is looking at additional charges, after attempting to escape from the Sand Springs Police Department holding facility Monday afternoon.

James Abraham had been taken into custody the previous night for public intoxication.  It appears, he didn't want to stay in jail any longer.

Police say Abraham tried to overflow the toiled and sink inside his cell and had covered up a security camera with a blanket.  When two officers tried to speak with him, he wasn't ready to listen.

Instead, he began to use profanity and made fun of the officers.

Next, he was told to sit down, so officers could fix the destruction he had made inside his cell.  Again, Abraham refused their orders even though they threatened the use of a Taser and OC spray.

He's accused of saying, "tase me Bro."

When officers opened the door to Abraham's cell, he pushed past them and went out into the booking area.  Abraham also tried to force open the door to the outside, but was unsuccessful.

Eventually, OC spray was used and Abraham was subdued.

He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail and now faces an added charge of attempting escape from arrest.
