Prison escapee captured after police chase

An escapee from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections Lilley Correctional Center in Boley, Oklahoma, is captured after a Tulsa police chase chase.

24-year old Christopher Rowe was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday near East Latimer Street and North Toledo Avenue after a Tulsa police officer spotted him driving a stolen vehicle.

Tulsa Police Corporal Mark Ohnesorge said, "He fled on foot and officers pursued on foot and they were able to apprehend him (a) couple of blocks away."

We're told Rowe also had a shotgun inside the car.

Rowe had escaped from the Lilley facility on New Years Eve.
