1 dead in BA rollover wreck

Broken Arrow police say one person died in a single vehicle rollover crash on the Broken Arrow Expressway near the Muskogee Turnpike.

The crash happend around 6 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the pickup truck left the roadway on the Muskogee Turnpike's eastbound entrance ramp from State Highway 51 and rolled.

Police said the driver, 52-year-old Matthew Defries of Braggs, OK, was not wearing a seatbelt.

The ramp was closed for a few hours, but was reopened just after 9 p.m. Thursday.
