By Michael Purdy

Owasso, Okla. —

A suspect threatens to give a man HIV during a theft attempt at an Owasso Walmart.

Police say 37-year-old Aleesha Ranae Jolly was caught trying to steal a television, towels and bathmats by a former store employee.  He ran her down in the Walmart parking lot.

Once in custody, the suspect threatened to bite and give the man HIV while they were waiting for officers to arrive.  Jolly made good on her threat and bit the man.  Police say he had a red mark on his hand.

Owasso PD recovered 44 items totaling $565.12.

Officers also found needles and a pipe with residue.  Police say Jolly admitted to being a drug addict for at least 15 years and had injected heroin earlier in the day.

Jolly was arrested for assault and battery, grand larceny and unlawful possession of paraphernalia.

She's now at the Tulsa County jail.
